It wasn't anything worse than the past few Drake albums, though.

But drake is like, the least mysogynistic rapper out there.

He seems to have an honest and open respect for women. His whole basis of popularity comes from his seemingly boyish obsession and love for the women in his life. I've listened to every one of his songs and never once have I felt as if he was speaking down to the female species in any way.

P.S. I'm not trying to be a jag, I honestly what to hear what your opinion is.

All of the women in Drake's songs are one-dimensional avatars, faceless screens onto which he projects his own selfish desires and then attempt to pass them off as vulnerability. He might not seem as outwardly or as vocally misogynistic as other rappers, but don't let that fool you - without fail, every female in his songs ends up being simply another tool to help him erect a glistening gold statue of himself. He's consistently patronising towards the women in his songs, and inevitably knows what's best for them. I don't dislike Drake's music, but to suggest that he isn't misogynistic is short-sighted. He exploits women in his songs in the same way he exploits young southern rappers - in order to further his own image.

casually misogynistic at times, and also has a lot of elements of Christian Rock.

I'm learning to stop asking questions about stuff

Also I'm doing a great job in taking a break from this site so as to focus on real life but I'm stressed from a calc quiz so this is what I'm doin. Most of this leans towards emo-pop but also a chunk of straight up pop punk in there, and I'm intentionally avoiding anything too emo (TWIABP, Great Big Pile of Leaves, Tiny Moving Parts, etc):

Soulmate Stuff by Antarctigo Vespucci

Joy, Departed by Sorority Noise

(don't kill me this is actually a good album I don't like just about anything else they've done)

My Dinosaur Life by Motion City Soundtrack

I'll Keep You In Mind, From Time To Time by Moose Blood

And the pop punk-ish, mostly emo version of Antlers:

The Albatross by Foxing

Chumped, Knuckle Puck, Real Friends, State Champs, and Neck Deep are all liked by others but I don't think have a great album so much as some good songs.

Lil Dicky manages to make a more interesting female character on "Molly" than I've heard Drake do in any song. And that's Lil Dicky. When I'm saying that Lil Dicky has done something serious better than you, that's a problem.

To clarify, there's also WAY better people to use as examples, but I picked this cuz
