does foobar support ALAC? (believe me I wouldn't fuck with alac if it weren't the only lossless format my iPod will accept)
I definitely know it can, you have to download an extension or add-on for foobar though.
Also do you really hear the difference between lossless and V0/320? Just wondering, I used to think that I could hear the difference but now I can't tell on my equipment.

Almost never. Pretty much just with this album tbh
Sometimes I wonder if you lot live in a vacuum, haha.
Ah yes, it's those of us that haven't spent our lives immersed in internet culture who live in a vacuum. ๐ _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
i would argue that there's more diversity of experience to be had online than in physical spaces that aren't large cities, tbf, though i understand where you're going.
still, i don't think you need to be "immersed in Internet culture" to know what 4chan is, even at a glance. it's brought up on cable news and the Facebook news bar thing pretty often in attachment to Anonymous. that's not to say that the actual posting layout or culture of 4chan or why it exists wouldn't be severely warped in your mind if you only listened to those sources, but it's far from an obscure nook of the Internet. people equate it with secrecy or something because of the anonymity of posting or the subject matter of certain boards, but 4chan's about as secret as John Travolta's sexual orientation.

4chan is obscure in the same way Animal Collective is obscure. Almost everyone here knows what they are but 95% of my friends in the real world would not.
4chan has 15.5 million google hits
Animal Collective has 9.2 million
4chan has 35,800 news results on Google, and a cursory glance shows that many are extremely recent
4chan is/was at the center of the national discussion over the most recent Oregon shooting, and Anonymous is brought up on CNN every single time a major world event happens
again, i'd argue 4chan is a thing that more active Internet users like to pretend is completely unheard of more than it actually is completely unheard of.

Never knew what it was before it was referred to repeatedly here. Oh, wait, you probably meant "at a glance in English-speaking countries" or something.
