[quote="HazeyTwilight"]Hey guys, just wondering what are your favourite albums to sleep to. I know I could've set up a new thread for this, but it will probably just go down into the darkest recesses of BEA's long-term memory. Anyway, I've enjoyed dozing off to these albums:
Okay I recognise this is a stupid question but how would one go about getting into classical music?
My kind of gateway to getting into more classical music has been to go through the big names of the Romantic era. A good starting point would be someone like Chopin. _________________

It depends on what you're looking for, but I would recommend doing this. Many of my favorite composers come from the Romantic era, and the era is much more melodic and accessible. However, there's a lot of good stuff from just about every era, but Romantic is a good start.

oh hey I just saw this. Tbh I think everyone has their own entry point into some facet of classical music. I've never quite been able to pin down your taste though... (stop being so hard to stereotype)... you might try Moondog who's not really classical so much as third stream but he's good entry level into classical(ish) music for jazz fans imo. I dunno got a specific style or even just general vibe or feel you're looking for?
