Non-English Films [Tournament Express]

So we tried a few of these a while back and it went well, let's give one another shot. An express tournament to find the best films not in the English language. It works much like a tournament, but instead of cluttering up the forum with individual threads for each matchup (not that I'm opposed to that, just this doesn't bear as much attention as a music tourney with loads of participants), we merely lump all the matchups into one thread. Each matchup is labeled and users can vote via PM or in the thread itself. (See any earlier Express Tournament for better details) I propose this time around each user gets two FOUR nominations for a non-English film. Matchups will be randomized. Films eligible are anything that could be nominated for an Academy Award (feature length, animated, short, and documentary. I've actually never seen The End of Evangelion... I've always been a bit confused about how you're supposed to watch it. It's like a series-finale episode to a TV series, right? 🤔

yes it is so um that's actually a bit of a hassle... i didn't think about that

since in order to actually be able to vote for the film you'd have to also watch the 26-episode series first, i'll change it to Trois couleurs: Bleu

goddammit hazey jumped in seconds before me. I'll make my final nom Rouge in that case, why not (though at this point i'm filling it with films i just really like and don't have any personal connection to so if someone really wants a nom i'm happy to drop mine)
