I didn't watch the trial, but I have read up with it. It amazes me she got off not-guilty. First off, the trunk of her car proves what happened, pretty much then and there.
"According to this there was a dead body in your trunk...."

Second, at least around here, everyone believes she's guilty. I know the justice system wants to be (well, i don't know the word, but if the word exists, it has something to do with 'innocent until proven guilty), and they could only 90% prove it instead of 100%, so it's all good.

True, it wasn't proven, but it was highly assumed. And even so, Casey never said her daughter was missing, and never bothered to search for her (....) And her remains were found in a forest near by. The only other suspect would be her grandmother, who possible could of planned it out, to kill her granddaughter, and send her daughter to jail (no clue why, maybe some family reason that she wanted to get them out of the way).
Either way, that family has issues.
