Rolling Stone already have their year end album list up 🤣 The season has begun.
so do Uncut, NME, and a couple other major ones IIRC. whenever The Wire comes out next week, it will probably be releasing its year-end list too, right? or do they wait 'til the January issue since their deadline for submitting lists is mid-November?

This is really a year marked by older artist returning to form. David Bowie gave us his best album in 36 years and Leonard Cohen his best in the last 24 and they ended their legendary careers on such a high note.
Radiohead returned to their best after one mildly dissapointing album and Nick Cave gave us possibly his best album ever.
