Yesterday a friend gave me a recommendation from last year which fits nicely in this topic. First listen and I thought it was pretty good...just added it to site and is available to listen on Spotify and Bandcamp.
Some excellent recs from LittleM1971 & Antonio-Pedro (esp. Quilt, Deerhunter, Papercuts & Piper At The Gates of Dawn). This maybe a bit of a curveball (that could be an understatement) but here's one you might want to check out, 'cause it does have psychedelic instrumentation among the noise:

I second, third and fourth Forever Changes- Love
Fifth Dimension- The Byrds(May not be fully psych)
Waiting For The Sun- The Doors
Currents- Tame Impala
A Saucerful Of Secrets- Pink Floyd
Pet Sounds- The Beach Boys(perfect psych pop along with The Zombies)
Didn't say much beyond classics but they are essential.
