Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
This will be my first Stones album and so far it's a good first impression. Not super in love just yet. Most albums I listen to do need a couple more listens until I come around, looking forward to hopefully listening to this album more and some of their others
I listened to this album for the first time about 9 days ago and I must say that it is something I could never have imagined in my wildest dreams. This is indeed one of the most well crafted and masterfully executed pieces of recording ever created. It's influence on music can be ranked up there with the all-time greats such as "Revolver" and "The Velvet Underground and Nico". This album is worth more than could ever truly be put to words which is why has earned the #5 spot on my all-time greatest album list. I highly suggest you give it at least 3 to 4 listens to let all the different sounds really settle in and do be sure to use headphones at a very highly volume so that you can hear the other sounds that are kind of hidden behind all the crazy distortion and feedback.
