As someone who watches all sorts of films and absolutely loves French new wave, there's no way I could come up with a decent list for that, much less Czech. I'd love to watch y'all do it though.

Regarding actors, coming up with 100 names should be easy. It's the order that would be crazy tough to decide.
TV is another one I personally wouldn't participate in but it still deserves to be done. I think I've only seen 4 TV series in their entirety: Weeds, Dexter, Tales from the Crypt and the original Twilight Zone (I'm not sure if the two anthology series would even count).
What about doing a film club type of thing like the ALC and ADP? Swap out a week discussion cycle for a month/twice a month cycle (or keep it a week if we want).

Westerns would actually be pretty cool. Hadn't thought of that one before. Definitely a lot easier to define than romance... that was a bit vague. I'd be way more down for westerns than sci-fi (queue Westworld pun of some sort). We'll see what people have interest in.

Doing a 100-film list for a specific movement would be way too hard & narrow a list to do and likely either result in a lot of mediocre selections/not being able to reach a top 100 or only certain users (ie natives of the country) being privvy to many of the hard-to-find hidden works of quality. Now doing a top 100 french or czech (or perhaps central/eastern-europe) list would def work just fine.
