Freddie Gibbs is the best rapper alive. Kendrick, YG, Roc Marciano, Ka, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, possibly also Kevin Gates all not far behind.
Yeah this is spot on. Can't believe the poll is missing all of these (in favour of macklemore), seems like it's just set up for everyone to vote Kendrick.
Kendrick is great but I feel like his strengths are in his concepts rather than his bars (which are obviously still great).

I'm a huge fan, I feel like he juuuust teeters into being more of a poet/spoken word artist to qualify.
I'd personally give shout outs to Blu (one generation behind maybe) and Open Mike Eagle. Really digging where 6LACK is going too.
My choices for 2 through 4 are not on the list and should be: Danny Brown, Killer Mike and Earl Sweatshirt. Srsly. Take out Niki Minaj and Macklemore who no one takes seriously.
