I know. But i never had any Lenny Bruce albums, so I'm not familiar with them even though I like him. same thing with Monty Python. I've heard some of their albums but I'm not familiar enough with them to remember which is which.

Anything from George Carlin is phenomenal. I think he's the greatest of all time. Smarter, quicker, sharper, more well structured, more relateble and agreeable than almost any other comic I've encountered.
My favorite CD release from him is probably Jammin' In New York.

Along with Carlin, I really like Louis CK and Aziz Ansari. They have their shortfalls, but really like most of the content. Carlin... I haven't even seen half of what he did, but from what i have seen, there's almost never a dull moment - so agreed.
I do have to give it to Louis CK's Bacon Theater to really getting me into comedy.

It's totally younger George Carlin. It looks like from the late '70s around when he did the performance at USC. Yes, back when edgy comedians performed on college campuses. Those were the days. It probably wouldn't happen today.
I also like the old school comedy in addition to newer hipper stuff. I know it's not very cool but actually these people were hysterically funny.
