Is there a procedure for reopening old threads? Or are they just stuck in closed mode forever?

A few years back I started a thread called "From the BEA Book of Lists" as a place for me (and anyone else who wanted to) to post, well, lists. (I like lists. Lists are fun.) I didn't do anything with it for awhile.

So I made a list for it today, went back to post it. The thread has been closed. I don't want to start a new thread with the same topic (although I might have to).

The last post was November 1, 2014. Can it be reopened?

Please advise.
