At least this explains the delay. Between Rostam leaving for a solo career and this news, I'm really wondering what the future even holds for Vampire Weekend. Fingers crossed for another great album pretty soon. Rostam's debut album is getting some really solid early reviews. I haven't heard all of it but have really enjoyed the few songs I have heard. Looks to be worth a buy.
