Here's my charts for the years, and I can't really figure out how to vote.
I wanted to vote on 1994 based on previous analysis (year with the most 75 or higher albums), but... idk. So hard to choose for sure. So many good albums over the years.
If the point of this is to identify a time of musical explosion, 1991 takes the cake, but 1994 perfected it... I guess, IDK...

I seriously considered the 2000s and nearly voted for 2006. I suppose it's all about what your looking for :).
I mean I've focused most of my musical value before 2010 (and in 2017 I've for the first time seen a world outside of that where I'm like... hmmm maybe I should give this stuff more attention). I think I remember you posted something like half of all the albums you've ever listened to were either post 2010 or 2000 or something? And that's not a slant on you or me... it's just what it is - you'll find value in what you look for value in I suppose, no?
I suppose Skinny said it best once where it was like: Which year is best? Every year for the past 60 years or so. (of course I'm paraphrasing cause I can't remember exactly what was said) hehe.
oh when I talked about what release decades I have given my attention to, that's just for the two years I've been keeping track. I've been listening to music for a lot longer than that.
