Good shout on World In Action. Personally (and with my nostalgic specs on recalling the halcyon days of kids TV as a pre-teen) either of these would be right up there (the first one still sends shivers down my spine):
Of course, if you like a show you start liking the music sooner or later. I could not stand Sopranos or Games of Thrones at the beginning, but now I find them very fitting.
The best German theme songs, if anyone is interested:
Dem Täter auf der Spur
Der Kommissar
Die Gentlemen bitten zur Kasse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_kNQ9kkG7s _________________ When the stewardess is near do not show any fear.
Theme from M.A.S.H. (Suicide is Painless) and Cheers were the best ones from my youth. I have never seen the show with The Monkees but I really like the song which was supposed to be the theme song.
Woke Up This Morning-The Sopranos
Bad Things-True Blood
The Luck You Got-Shameless
Down in the Hole (Tom Waits and Steve Earle versions)-The Wire _________________ 100 Punk Favourites
