You add the album to the database by adding it to your chart. Once you’ve published the chart including it, you can edit it to add the track listing, release date, and artwork.

I think it would be worth it for the site to have a much more obvious Add Album option. I mean, once you know how to add an album on this site, it isn't that hard, but it's still the most questioned part of this website, I couldn't figure it out for the life of me at first.

I thought that the albums are added by moderators through the forum or there is the " add " button. Maybe that is stupid, but true))

Actually...an add album button would not be a bad idea at all. When you press it, it could take you to a screen that says "Please select the chart you would like to add this new album to". Then it could go to adding from there.
I'm going to move this to the Suggestions forum...that way AM will see it and we can get his thoughts about it.

It is better to add a new album which is not on the site directly in the artist menu, then edit it and then add it to the chart by any means)

Yeah, seriously. How many times has a new member asked "How do you add an album to the site's database?" Personally, I lost count after 1240764.
