Rock Hall of Fame 2019 Nominees have been announced!

As you all may or may not have heard, the Rock Hall of Fame has announced it's nominees for 2019. The nominees are as follow: * The Cure * Def Leppard * Devo * Janet Jackson * John Prine * Kraftwerk * LL Cool J * MC5 * Radiohead * Rage Against the Machine * Roxy Music * Rufus featuring Chaka Khan * Stevie Nicks * The Zombies * Todd Rundgren Fan vote: https://www.rockhall.com/fanvote/ Thoughts on the nominees? Who doesn't deserve it, who does, who got snubbed, etc. Personally after seeing the standings of the fan vote, I was very disappointed. Stevie Nicks and Def Leppard most certainly are not the two most deserving there by a landslide (sorry), in fact I wouldn't even put them in the better half. On another note, Sonic Youth, the Pixies, the Smiths, and countless other 80s Indie superstars have been disincluded yet again, to no surprise of my own. There are plenty of other bands from other genres they're leaving out too, but listing them all would take too long. Of the nominees I'm in favor of, Radiohead, Rage, MC5 and The Cure personally stick out to me the most. Edit: On a side-note, the Rock Hall has no credibility at all anymore to me, but it's still worth discussing.

The Rock Hall inductions were also the last time The Velvet Underground ever performed, so there is some good to come of these ceremonies.

I'm content with the inductees. The Cure & Radiohead are fine by me... You cant win them all. I'm still not sold on Stevie Nicks or The Zombies but oh well. Def Leppard was a head scratcher but I guess it fits the bill of cliche "dad rock bands" being inducted. Obviously there are so many other deserving artists who continue to get snubbed, so I'll keep my head high knowing The Cure and Radiohead got in.
