Lol yeah the self-mytholigising part is a just accusation from Skinny. The shock for me though was that the Memphis version of Big Jet Plane and the accompanying album actually blew away my previous expectations of what Primal Scream could do in their Stones imitating mode. It's really authentic and satisfying and maybe even better than the Stones at incorporating gospel into blues rock (although they still can't quite match the swagger of the Stones.) There was some truth to their self-mythologising.

Double dipped on All the Work though and that is a cool track too. Maybe needs a summer's day but I like the vibe.
