Echo Ono by Pontiak

Sorry this took me so long to listen to. I enjoyed this well enough, didn't really stand out to me too much, but it was definitely an enjoyable listen. The guitar work was pretty solid, the riff the album starts with is pretty great and the riff-work throughout the album was pretty good.

For guzguz:

A Raver's Diary by Dusty Kid

I have had this one listened to for awhile, and it was great! I have listened to my fair share of techno guzguz, but I have avoided much of it over the past decade. Their are just some sounds and trends in modern techno music that I don't care for, like some of the forced buildups and "drops", but those were absent for the most part on this album. It was a bit long, but I think if this was an actual set in a club or something, then it would probably go by in a flash.

Lebowski, glad you have joined the fun, and, by the looks of your chart, you have a lot of the same artists present, so let's try to expand that musical canon of yours.

I'm going to give you this indie rock album from 1999

Maladroit by Weezer

I love Weezer, and it's been an extremely long time since I've listened to Maladroit. I came away with a similar feeling that I had a long time ago when I listened to it, it's fine, it's solid, there's definitely some really great tracks on here and it's better than most of the stuff Weezer has been putting out over the past decade, but it's not an album I think I'm going to come back to frequently. Like I said though, not bad at all, I definitely enjoyed the album, but it's definitely below Pinkerton/Blue Album/Green Album for me.

For Rocka:

6- And 12-String Guitar by Leo Kottke

Maldita Vecindad Y Los Hijos Del Quinto Patio by Maldita Vecindad
That's exactly the reason why I play this game: to get to listen to some mexican record I would have probably never heard of in my entire life. It was quite an interesting album, it's well conceived and don't have a weak track. I didn't get much of the lyrics but they seem fine too. I'll certainly listen to it again.

I think you should try this:

Where You Go I Go Too by Lindstrรธm

Expensive Shit by Fela Kuti & Africa 70

Another fun interesting listen

my recommendation for guzguzgarbit is:
Starsailor by Tim Buckley

Starsailor by Tim Buckley
It was surprinsing as I wasn't expecting so much experimentation (probably because of his smiling face on the cover). But surprisingly good, songs like Starsailor are truly amazing and the progression is quite inspired too. I didn't find Song To The Siren to stand out too much, it flows nicely with everything else.

Here's my recommendation:

Natural Feelings by Airto Moreira

6- And 12-String Guitar by Leo Kottke

Kottke is more playful than Fahey, which makes for a more engaging album at some points. Still probably go with Fahey, but this is always something nice to put on when you're sitting on the porch.

guzguz, here's another one for you.

Soup by Bola

This is a really interesting album. It creates a dense and immersive atmosphere and manages to be still quite accessible and enjoyable. It's very cohesive too, my favourite track would be "Pendulus" but all are great.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this:
