re :2 ultimately the winners are going to be albums that don't stray away from "this should definitely be allowed" anyway so practically adding limitations seems like an unnecessary step.

looking forward! also, how many noms were you thinking of accepting overall/per person to begin with? ofc depends on interest to a big degree

Last year we had a ton of nominations and had to have play-in rounds with one per person. So it will be one per person again.

4. Mitski - Be The Cowboy

6. The Beths - Future Me Hates Me

Will be tough to choose just one!!! 😕

Soccer Mommy's album is a serious contender too. That album gets better with every listen.

For me the big question is whether I'll nominate my absolute favorite right away, or wait a few days to see if it gets nominated so that I can maybe get something less popular into the tournament. Which do I value more - a better feeling about my nominee or a better feeling about the field as a whole? 🤔
