Yeah. Revisited both today and that did not provide clarity.
So I'm voting for Avantdale Bowling Club. One of the most balanced syntheses of jazz and rap ever. I like the records about equally, and Double Negative is more consistent, but Avantdale Bowling Club has higher highs and more replay value. _________________ Join us in the canon game :) / Add me on RYM
The Low album still sounds very Low but it's so subdued...
I fairly liked the jazzy atmospere of ABC at the start of the album but the album just goes on and on without getting more interesting so I finally go for Low?
The Low album started off great, but I think it relied too much on a few key elements and in the end I was a bit bored. Nevertheless, it's still pretty good. The ABC album has more ideas I think, and the jazzy atmosphere is quite successful, even if I find it hard to get into at first. So my vote goes to Avantdale Bowling Club.
