Really like both. But whereas I feel like I've heard the Riverside album before the KSG album feels pretty fresh and exciting and just plain fun.

That's interesting, because I found this album to be significantly more interesting and enjoyable than Tool's more acclaimed work.
As to my vote, going with the flawed but enjoyable rendition of genres I'm a big fan of, instead of the very well-done rendition of genres I'm not. |
if this catches your attention, check out some of riverside's earlier albums such as Rapid Eye Movement, Second Life Syndrome, and Anno Domini High Definition.
