I'd never heard this remix of Paper Planes, and I think I prefer the original, but I'm still voting for it. I've never truly loved BOB even if I can't deny it's greatness, while Paper Planes is a big favorite and one of the best pop songs of the decade.

Yeah I'm sorry again a went way over the bracket allotment and I had to dip deep into every body's choices just for the play-in, I hope we don't end up wit h, like, international players anthem vs idioteque as the innag Ural matchup next round.
Anyways vote to Outkast, although much love to PP even if it's not my favorite Ka la track

an odd match-up. Outkast is in a different ballpark than MIA, and 9 times out of 10, i'd pick them, but Paper Planes is special and gets my vote.

OutKast for me also, by a reasonably decent margin. Though far from my favourite of theirs in the 2000's (or even on Stankonia).

But on a honest response, while Paper Planes is a fascinating pop song from the late 2000's the song never floored me that much. Was always a good song but never really went over the hill to become that track where I would lose my shit.
While Bombs Over Baghdad does. It somewhat shocks me that B.O.B is almost 20 years old and still sounds like it would shake anyone down to their core if it was released today. Then again as a song B.O.B just sounds like a three course meal that still keep giving even when it is over. From the rock breakdown or the programmed drums that have a drum and bass quality to the gospel chorus as the closer.
