I guess it was my use of the word "awkward?" I meant awkward with regard to the use of language, not how the syllables flow.

That'd be it. Figured you through the diction of chiropractic was said awkwardly.

Not everybody can write lyrics as brilliant as, for example, "put aside the alienation, get on with the fascination". Rolling Eyes

Which helps explain why the 2000s is my least favorite decade for music.

Yeah I went with Jesus of Suburbia. Surprised how much I like this era of Green Day. I find the UKG track just a bit too pleasant. It's well put together but seems to lack a real statement of intent for me.

There are four statements of intent; five, if we include that Willie Hutch sample.

Int'l Players Anthem has one of the best beats of all time. It also has four incredible performances by four rap legends, excellent in both wordplay and flow. The only flaw is the subject matter - their regressive sexual politics. Still, it's a great song, and it's a no-brainer for me to choose it against its competition. Then again, I also thought Knuck If You Buck over Jesus Of Suburbia was a no-brainer, and here we are.
