Yes, this is a fanciful premise, but hear me out... Incredibly powerful aliens have taken over Earth. It is unclear if their intentions are good or evil, but they are fixated on music. They have decided to destroy all music produced after World War II and wipe it from the minds of everyone, so that they can observe how humans in the 2020s would start over. Somehow, you are the last person on Earth whose memory has not yet been erased. Before they erase your memory and destroy all the music, the aliens let you pick one album from each of the first ten pages of the BEA overall chart to preserve for humanity. Which ten albums do you choose, and why? No cheating! You must pick exactly one album from each page or no albums will be saved at all.

Thanks- I'm referencing the Orange Juice single, though there seems to be quite a few blue boy related things kicking around (including a very good Ron Sexsmith album).

Thanks for the recs. I know surprisingly little about Sarah records-despite my fondness for janglesome music- so I might get acquainted with these some time.
