Itunes random play refreshes music

Technology is changing the way I listen to music. I absolutely love playing my library on itunes in random play. I've got about 600 albums, and about 300 of them I found out through besteveralbum. It would take one month of constant listening to hear all the songs. Its a great way to keep all your albums on the play list, and I'm getting great at understanding artist strenghts because its always in immediate contrast to another artics. The drawback is that you don't get familiar with albums as a whole, which seems to be what this site is all about. I always thought Pearl Jam was one of my favorites, but in random play a lot of their songs don't hold up as well other artists. the Black Crowes or Counting Crowes on the other hand hold up extremely well. Pavement does well also. I know I want to add a Black Crowes albume to my greatest, but no album really stands above the others to me. However with constant liistening of about 3 years with my ever growing library I should be able to add some albums to my chart.

i agree the only way to do it is by playing the album.... don't like skipping around much, doesnt have the same effect
