There's another big consideration I have to make, and that's that I want this poll to honestly reflect what the forums of BEA think are the best albums of the decade, and if I make a rule that excludes the top 100 that sort of does away with that idea.
How about this: We do one round of decade polls that show what the members think with albums including the top 100, and then we do another round that disqualifies those top 100 and shows what the left-field choice would be for each respective decade. I think that's fair. After this wraps I'll do the '80s poll, and then return to the '70s without our friends in the top 100, so that it'll still be relatively fresh in everyone's mind.
