I just read an article that says my favorite singer, Lauren Talley, has formed a trio with 2 other Southern Gospel singers, Amber Eppinette Saunders (of 11th Hour), and Kenna Turner West. The trio's name is simply, Lauren, Amber & Kenna and their first single will be called "Ever-Present, Almighty God" and will be released in early 2023. Lauren just released a new album last month and now there is more new music coming soon. I can't wait to hear the first single. I'm excited.
Wow — according to Metacritic's list, John Cale is releasing a new album on January 20, and was touring earlier this year. He's 80 years old! Dude is no slouch.
Also Blur's drummer, Dave Rowntree, is putting out an album on the same day. I had no idea that might happen...
No date yet for the alleged new My Bloody Valentine album, but I'll probably survive the wait. Besides, they'll need time to add more additional extra layers of guitar distortion.
Apparently the new Cure album (which could be out even before the end of the year, but... probably not) will be called "Songs of a Lost World," which is probably an unfortunate choice of title since the phrase "The Lost World" usually reminds people of dinosaurs.
James Otto-Still waiting on something new from him
Alison Krauss-Her last album was released just over a year ago, and so anything new from her could be released at any time.
Tanya Tucker-A new album is said to be coming.
Trace Adkins-His last album was released in August of last year.
