I'm assuming you mean it's their BEST song โ“ But, anyway, I like A Day in the Life very much, but it's not The Beatles' best song.

And I Want You isn't their best song either.

Actually people the songs i put on the list are the top rated songs on this site I didn't choose them. ๐Ÿ™„ I still think they all deserve to be there, even Train In Vain, they all are really different so even if it's not the best list in the world it offers variety.

There is nothing wrong with your list nrs182 ๐Ÿ˜

The problem is people always bitching about other peoples polls and treads instead of just starting their own. ๐Ÿ™„

And A Day In The Life IMO has some of the best vocals ever from John Lennon ๐Ÿ‘

Which, of course, makes them some of the best vocals of all time period.

Haha, Gary, you just totally nailed it.

I went with "Gimme Shelter" although it was hard not to vote for Paranoid Android.

I think "I Want You" is one their best songs. Even though their best song is "A Day in the Life", Abbey Road kicks Sgt. Peppers Ass.. IMO

If Sgt. Pepper didn't have "A Day in the Life", "With a Little Help from My Friends", "LSD", "She's Leaving Home", "Sgt. Pepper", "Within You Without You" or "Good Morning Good Morning", that would be true. As it happens, all those songs ARE in Sgt. Pepper. So there. ๐Ÿคฃ On the subject of ass-kicking albums, The White Album certainly kicks Sgt. Pepper's ass.......so, naturally, it's better than Abbey Road too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿซต
A Day in the life > Every other song of the beatles BUT:
With a Little Help from My Friends Lucy in the sky with diamonds She's Leaving Home Sgt. Pepper< Oh darling
Within You Without You< Because
Good Morning Good Morning
and those are kindda comparable songs.. AND Abbey Road still has "here comes the sun" and that majestic medley as a whole so..
