There been some interesting match-ups in this tournament— we've had some radical differences, some that are almost the exact same song, and tracks that even pair together— but this might be one of the most unfair. These are two totally different styles from different parts of the world being revitalized in different ways, excellently— yet they're both designed to do the same thing. It's energetic, upbeat relaxation.
Toubouk Ine Chihoussay gets my vote simply because I'm more in the mood for Tuareg than Cumbia today. I don't have much more of an explanation than that.
pretty much my thoughts to a tee, just with the opposite conclusion (more in the mood for cumbia today haha)
but yeah these both slap and I think are perfect executions of what they are trying to do respectively. Both make me smile _________________ A Variety of Artists
Etran de L'Air - Toubouk Ine Chihoussay
African dance music sounds a little different to me.
Meridian Brothers & El Grupo Renacimiento - Hermano Necessito
I choose interesting storyline lyrics under the youtube release.
Text option on Genius added conspiracy theories.))
Man, that's a tough matchup, both songs come with a super cool vibe that instantly draws you in, hard to resist.
I'll go with Hermano Neccesito, but I think both of them deserve a spot in the next round. _________________ Bob Dylan Charles Mingus
