he always appears on these lists, based, i think, mainly because of the universal opinion of the impact of Nevermind. I don't like the album or the band, but i acknowledge the impact it had on the musical landscape at the time. But seriously, he's nowhere near being one of the greatest guitarists.....if he has to appear on the list, then surely Frank Black and Joey Santiago should also be on the list as they (as acknowledged by Kurt himself) clearly influenced him and his somewriting (LOUDquietLOUD).....
