Well technically, I live in Padiham but it's still a part of Burnley really. Not a big town but it's good enough and it's not as rough as some places such as the Cog Lane area. Which part of Burnley did you live at when you were there?
Thanks Smithy yes I know Padiham well I have an old school friend who still lives on Victoria Road and our secondary school was right on the Padiham border (although it's a housing estate now). I lived on Lowerhouse Lane two houses up from the chippy and I used to walk down into Padiham regularly across the school fields then down Padiham Road. Ah, the nostalgia lol. It isn't what it used to be y'know (nostalgia isn't).
I was dreading you saying Townley or Stoneyholme or some other area I hardly knew at all, but Padiham was like I say within walking distance of where I lived.
So what are your plans Smithy? Do you think you'll ever move on or are you for sticking around?
If you asking about plans of ever moving then no, because having to find a house would be awkward as hell. It wouldn't help at the same time as I was at college from 2017-2022 (I had to go through so much).
But if you're asking about plans for what I am going to be doing soon, then I am hoping to do guitar lessons again which is close to Towneley. I haven't done any guitar lessons in around 3 years because of covid.

neilgeeThe longer i'm retired the better i use2 playProfile Manchester
Always follow the dream Smithy. I was in a band back in Burnley, in fact moving to Manchester buggered it up although we limped on for awhile, commuting. I didn't play anything but I could write lyrics and (just about) sing. We never got beyond rehearsal though, which is something I've always regretted. So yes follow the dream.
