Zonoscope was pretty good, but 2011 was a GREAT year, and it isn't over yet, so I wouldn't be calling a winner so soon.
...but that winner is either Belong or David Comes to Life.
David Comes To Life was pretty cool and damn epic but I haven't heard Belong. Although I would guess your love for The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart comes from the fact that they have an asian female as a front woman (hehe...wang).

there's no way to quantify if a song is better than another... I like Cut Copy more though because their songs are just fun but contemplative in a New Order kind of way. In Ghost Colours covers a very wide spectrum as well and it all flows very nicely, it's truly an album experience. Here's a few of my favorites, GARY
