meh, some good songs, but overall boring. The Clash and Ramones debuts were both much better

Overall I personally find 80's hardcore punk was more interesting than most of the 70's stuff.

Hear, hear!

I've heard people say this album is boring, badly done, or just bad.

I used to think that, but it's weird how much this album grew on me Razz

#19 on my chart Smile

One of those albums you know you have to appreciate, but blow off giving it an actual chance...

A classic, the best British respond to the Ramones Smile

It's quite different from Ramones I think. The closest thing to Ramones in British punk is Slaughter and the Dogs.

Never Mind The Bollocks is a very good album. There are punk albums that I prefer, but not that much.

i agree, they have quite different punk styles (Fun Vs revolt) but the Ramones were the first punk band (let's forget the stooges) so they were an inspiration for the sex pistols.

Number five on my chart. The album is anything BUT boring. It's raw, untamed, emotion-packed, and absolutely the best example of attitude prevailing over talent.

No, these boys can't play very well at all. Yes, you're right, Mr. Rotten can't sing worth a damn. But, virtuosity often breeds ignorance.

The Sex Pistols were the Jackson Pollocks of the music industry.

This album perfectly captured an attitude and a moment in time. It's very much like a Jack Pollock painting...a masterpiece.
