Why "Shame on you" on Sgt. Pepper? It's an awesome album! |
Because it's pretty much just an unfinished BLUEPRINT of an a great album as opposed to a great album on its own merit, and the REAL great album which was constructed from that blueprint was Abbey Road. |
Hm... Now, I disagree with this. But I find it hard to tell why exactly :-k .. I don't think they have that much in common. I like the sound better in Sgt Pepper
And there are no songs on Abbey Road that would be as brilliant as She's Leaving Home or A Day in the Life... Or even Fixing a Hole |
I Want You (She's So Heavy)!
Or "the medley", if we count that as one song. I'm a big fan of prog and segues, and Abbey Road has more of both. |
I'm a fan of those but I don't like the medley at all (see my comment on Abbey Road album page.. I don't feel like writing right now :| ) |
If you don't like the meddley then you barely like Abbey Road. |
LOL, yeah, it IS like half the album. _________________ A dick that's bigger than the sun.
