this is a dream thread I love bad album covers, or more accurately album covers that well-adjusted people find horrific I adore
here's some "bad" ones that I genuinely love

Party Music by The Coup
This one achieved the double whammy of not just being a bad album cover but also one of the most badly timed album covers as it was released just months before 9/11.
I have soooo many that I could share but to start with a cover that I own. Truly terrible cover but not the worst by any means.
Just want to interject on the Beatles cover. There is a stark difference between terrible and offensive. What some might find offensive others will not and offensive doesnโt automatically equate to terrible or bad
Well, it's extremely offensive to me, so that means I think it's bad.
Agreed LTS. There are so many things wrong with this album cover that itโs hard to know where to start.
Thank you.

All three of these are legitimately good covers (or would have been, if 9/11 didn't happen and Party Music were released as planned). _________________ Join us in the canon game :) / Add me on RYM
I don't believe in the notion of a "bad" album cover. There are album covers that are ugly, or amateurish, or stupid, or offensive... not to mention evil, insulting, sickening, racist, sexist, and so on. But at the end of the day, they're still just album covers.
