Never really thought about this album cover too much. Wouldnโt say that itโs a bad album cover but certainly not a good one. Brilliant album though

Well, I would disagree with it being a brilliant album. I am not a fan of this group at all.

We know. You dislike more music than most of us like. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Do, I? Or do, I just dislike different music than most of you? Most of you probably dislike a lot of the music I like, or even love. As for this one, the title alone, "Maggot Brain" is not appealing to me at all.
Yes, that Elmer Fudpucker one was hilarious. I don't see anything offensive about the album covers you posted here. Out of all the satanic and evil stuff I've seen on album covers, I don't get it at all when you say these are the most offensive album covers. There's plenty out there that's way more offensive than this stuff and that Beatles cover in the video I posted is one of them.
Bringing the conversation back to bad album covers. This one is disturbing on multiple levels.
What were they thinking?
Hayden apparently thinks the ordinary looking album covers he posted are more offensive. He said no album covers were more offensive than the ones he posted.

i mostly don't care for how artless and lazy those covers are, but i also can't help from feeling in the pit of my stomach that there's something vaguely narcissistic about them.
isn't self-infatuation the most demonic trait of all? pride and vanity and all of that? wasn't pride pre-eminent in lucifer's fall? in adam's fall? eve's?
i mean, to compare those covers to something like maggot brain, i find them so much more unappealing. the maggot brain photo is well-lit, has great use of composition and space, an interesting color pallet, et cetera. there was clearly time and effort and expertise into making something that made a statement. sure, whatever joke the title conveys is a little tacky, perhaps even disingenuous, but it's hardly as offensive as the glorification of keith urban's mug with his bare, shaven chest peeking through his open shirt and a look in his dreamy eyes that suggest he has already seduced me. gross. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
