"Exploration of the physical traits of sound rather than music as expression."

Maybe the best musical genre in my opinion

Onkyo is so beautiful and meditative, i absolutely adore the genre.

check out:
Taku Sugimoto - Flagments of Paradise
Toshimaru Nakamura - Noโ€‹-โ€‹Input Mixing Board
Sachiko M & ๅ‚ๆœฌ้พไธ€ [Ryuichi Sakamoto] - Snow, Silence, Partially Sunny

hope u enjoy those albums if you do end up giving them a chance ๐Ÿ˜„

Just making myself useful:

Flagments Of Paradise by ๆ‰ๆœฌๆ‹“ [Taku Sugimoto]

No-Input Mixing Board by Toshimaru Nakamura

Bandcamp

BEA doesn't have the Sachiko M & Ryuichi Sakamoto album mentioned, but there are quite a few others by Sachiko M listed here, including collaborations, and of course most of the Ryuichi Sakamoto discography, also including collaborations.

I suppose the elevator pitch for Onkyokei might be something like "improvisational musique concrรฉte for ASMR fans," but hey, YMMV! ๐Ÿ˜
