I just wanted to share the two latest reaction videos I just watched. These are reactions to one of the most gifted vocalists on the planet, David Phelps. The songs aren't from 2025, but I watched the reaction videos, just now, in 2025. I don't really have any other place to post these.
The first one is "Oh Holy Night" and David brought the woman reacting to the song to tears. She was so moved and touched by him.
Feel free to comment on this or any of my posts. A little feedback might be nice.
I can't believe that no one had anything at all to say about my last post that featured "Oh Holy Night" (which not only featured a world-class vocalist, but a fantastic pianist as well (the late Anthony Burger), and "Trouble" (which not only featured a world-class vocalist, but some pretty fantastic back-up singers and some great instrumentation as well). So, I'm going to post here, just the performances uninterrupted by the commentary and hopefully someone will have something to say then.
"O Holy Night" is usually played only at Christmas time, but the word Christmas is only in the song if the singer adds the word "Noel" to the lyrics. Some singers do this, but David did not do that here. There is no reason this song could not be played all year around.
Definitely has impressive vocal chops. And "Trouble" is catchy enough to be a mainstream pop hit. But "Oh Holy Night" is pretty clearly a Christmas song when it references "the night that Christ was born".

Thanks so much for commenting. Actually, I think "Trouble" sounds more like a blues song than a pop song. The backup singers are great on that one and David is a world-class talent. So gifted! He even blows the professional vocal coaches away. By the way, David also wrote the song "Trouble" as well. Thanks again for commenting. It's nice to have some interaction for a change.
I just came across this very short video and I wanted to share it. This is a vocal coach named Cheryl Porter. It has a vocal register slide on the side of the video to show which register she is singing in as the video progresses.

Some weeks there aren't really any new tracks I'm particularly fond of but this week there were several new tracks I really enjoyed. I'll give you the Christian / Gospel ones first. I think this one is my favorite new track this week. I think it's beautiful.
I have two favorite newly released tracks this week.
Come Out of the Graveyard - Dan Dean & Debi Selby - The theme of this song is similar to the theme of "Digging Up Graves" by Lee Park Worship & Shane Dunlap. I don't think this song is quite as good as "Digging Up Graves", but still a really enjoyable song IMO.
Are the albums containing these songs listed here on BEA? If so, I think it would help if you included the link to their albums so people who hear these songs can rate the track and maybe even listen to & rate the whole album if they want.
