This may be one that I donโt get any comments on but, of late, Iโve really grown to love Roberta but donโt know a lot about her albums just the odd track.
Any thoughts on this album?
Really good album with great vocals. It's one of two LPs I've heard by her, and I much prefer this one, which is beautifully self-produced:
Re the Elmore James record. Can't really comment as I've not heard it (although I know quite a few of his songs) I personally find that when I am in the mood to listen to "The Blues" I much prefer compilations.
There are two volumes of "Woke Up This Morning" I enjoy listening to, but what I do is listen to self made compilations with tracks that I have from various Mojo Cds that I have collected over the years.

Those mojo compilations and mags like blues review are really useful especially for discovering new โoldโ stuff
Thanks for posting davep. Loads more albums coming up. Please comment / recommend more stuff
These guys sort of passed me by, apart from the singles, but I've heard some album tracks recently and they sound pretty good. Worth getting?
If you're gonna have one Foghat album, it might as well be this one. It does have "Slow Ride". _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold
