Post subject: BCA [CLOSED]Kapputt vs. Ravedeath, 1972 vs. Cinquieme Saison
Before voting, I would ask that voters AT LEAST listen to one song off of each album, from start to finish, just to get a feel for the sound. Remember, this tournament should allow you to listen to great Canadian music you may not have otherwise heard, so please take the opportunity to discover these great albums which have been nominated. Anyway, here we go:
voted for Ravedeath, 1972. Strangely, I've been looking at a lot of end-of-year best-jazz-albums-based charts and a significant amount have decided to include Ravedeath, 1972
Huh, I didn't even know Ravedeath was considered jazz...
no, it's not considered jazz, it's just showing up in a few jazz-based charts from jazz blogs, websites, etc. I haven't seen another popular album except for Let England Shake a couple of times

Hmmm that is weird. I say it's ambient. Good ambient.
Ohhh but I love Kaputt too !!! _________________ I'll be your plastic toy.

Weird. I wouldn't even relate the album to jazz.
Glad to see Kaputt winning By quite a large margin
