Yeah, it seems to be such a simple thing at first, and then you realize it isn't all that simple.
Kinda seems like you're trying to form the taste people perceive when they look at your chart. But I think you've struggled with the fact that your chart isn't as avant-garde as you would like for a while, haven't you? (I think I remember you complaining about the fact that you had NAPLES in your similar charts.
But the way I see it your chart is your chart and if you wanna do that its not that much of a farcry from the '1 album per artist ' format.

Yeah, that's basically the case. I mean, I don't want to be pretentious or anything, but it's sort of annoying when you fall in love with all these avant-garde albums, but because you like all the Rolling Stone classics along with it, people think you've just discovered, lets say, OK Computer, even though I've actually been pretty bored of it for the past year.
Of course, I must point out that this wasn't a very substantial change at all. Only about 7-8 albums were affected, a few of them (such as Is This It) I wanted to omit for PR reasons anyway.

Why would "people" think you've just discovered OK Computer if you have a chart that is made up of the jewels from 60 years of making albums?
