I'm surprised that so many critics put Adele so high

There we go 😄 A good list.

Adele's 21 is actually a pretty good album. She's technically an indie artist, but she just got pop recognition. I gave it a 70/100, which made it land in my top 30 of the year.

Cellar's list is VERY intersting. A lot of good albums, and a lot I haven't heard.

And is Replica really that good? 🤔 Pitchfork thought highly of it too. I remember listening to his last album and remembering it was shit-sounding noise stuff. 😕

Youtube-ing Replica right now and yes, it is a good album. Though I don't exactly see it as a "top album" of the year. But definitely worth a listen, and even if I'm only listening to it on youtube, I'll probably include it in my personal chart for the BEA end of year list 😄

It makes me sad that every list just excludes metal completely 🙁

Fucked Up still has their door in the door. If hardcore punk can garner acclaim, metals time in the sun will be soon at hand. I mean, the new Opeth and Mastodon albums have been widely praised, soooo...

Another year has past and i might say a good one for me personally. Even though my dear Europe suffered much and there were some bloody riots all over the globe, it still seems like most of us did just ok!(we still breathe?)
Was the year generally good or bad i let you to decide but one thing is certan, music still is one thing that brings joy to our lives. So how was the year 2011 in music? First of all i had the chance to listen more than 100 albums this year, all of them released in 2011 so im pretty confident in writing this post.
I tried to put all of these albums up on MY Chart page but then i got tired and i just wrote them up in my notebook. SO here they are!

Pitchfork constantly lists music that no one remembers a year later.
