I think your selections were great! There are plenty of classic rock fans on BEA, although most aren't as outspoken as some of the other members on here 😉

I'm not sure but I think that Coral is ranked 795 and Clinic is ranked 1,193 for bands on here. While Boston bands Aerosmith ranked 167 Boston ranked 182 and The Cars ranked 267 are considered average. If so then what are Coral and Clinic considered on here?

Try not to put too much weight on the overall band charts. Take Oasis for example. It's probably about 60-40 towards the negative (at best) as far as what people think of them. They have a overall average score of 69/100, and yet they are the #9 band on the band rankings. Meanwhile a band like Queens of the Stone Age have a average rating of 77/100 but are #111.

Also, everybody is very opinionated here so don't let that bring you down. I honestly didn't even pay attention to who nominated what in this game, so when I say I don't like Boston, Aerosmith, etc it doesn't mean I didn't like your choice, I just don't like those bands.

Welcome, by the way! 😮

With Gary gone (would it be rude to say good riddance here?) I am probably the most outspoken classic rock fan on the site. I have spent the last three years enduring heartbreaking ridicule, downright rudeness, and more than one attempt on my life for standing up for the likes of AC/DC, ZZ Top, Bruce Springsteen and John Cougar Mellencamp. In the end though, it is worth it, for those artists mean something to a lot of people. They mean something the high-brow, eggheaded, elitist haters of anything that is popular that inhabit these forums can never kill. They mean...FUN!

Love your Aerosmith inclusion. Boston without Aerosmith is like Liverpool without The Beatles (and London without the Stones for that matter, something these revisionist people want erased and replaced with Getzmo Loudenbrocken who plays suicidal sea shanties on his digital tin flute). Good selections for Boston and I will now go vote for them just to spite the establishment.

You should have nominated Newton-le-Willows Joy. Clearly they're better than London.

EDIT: The fish was good.

Testify, brother... Classic rock is nothing to be ashamed of. Hating on Aerosmith makes sense if you solely judge their work after Get a Grip, and besides, their 70s work is seminal. Aerosmith is one of my favourites. Screw high-brow haters. Some people love unlistenable dreck because they think it makes them profound and sophisticated, and turn their noses up at the 'plebs' who love bands like Aerosmith. They're much more skilled and creative than some realize - they're not Nickleback.

As far as the vote goes - The fact that the Pixies are from Boston... they combine to topple the weight of the Beatles-led team. Boston it is.

God smited him for coveting his neighbors donkey and he now lives in hell where they have no super sizing at McDonald's restaurants, no cruise control on their vehicles, no recliner chairs, and the internet is being censored.

EDIT: All of Radiohead's albums are provided free of charge to all inmates though.

EDIT 2: Also, upon reading up on the Ten Commandments, the Exodus version states "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors ass", which clearly reads as "It is fine to be homosexual as long as you take it to the next subdivision". Them religious people should get their bible straight before starting their persecutions.
