First listen of this was underwhelming. I mean, Hallogallo is great, but it just feels overlong (which is strange considering it's only like 40 minutes). Yeah, I'd take any Faust, Can, or Kraftwerk (EDIT: that I've heard) over this in a heartbeat. _________________

As anyone who remembers my first avatar can attest, i'm no Neu! hater. But this album... I just find it unlistenable, a definite struggle to get through. _________________
A true masterpiece. This album induces the sort of transcendental state that a half decade of psychedelia couldn't dream of. I don't know if there is such a thing as musical perfection, but if I was looking for it, Neu! would be my starting point.
