Sitting on one of those horrible, pebbly, English beaches on a miserable day, watching the tide bring with it a load of wind-up radios, each of them wheezing its last breath before they fall silent forever.
So this pick was a toss-up between a few albums (Conan, Frankie Cosmos, YG all came to mind), but in the end I went with my gut instinct. I don't know a lot about this band, but they're dope. It's a turntablist and a guitarist as far as I know, and they craft gentle, melodic, almost Basinski-esque droning soundscapes. I've been completely addicted to this album since I first heard it, to the point where listening to it has become a daily ritual. Check it.
p.s. I think this is #15, as Ratking (loveless) was #13, and then Wovenhand #14, but I might be wrong. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Well this is very very good. Its getting harder and harder to rank these but heres probably how mine looks:
1. Death Vessel - Island Intervals
2. Wovenhand - Refractory Obdurate
3. The Fun Years - One Quarter Descent
4. Have a Nice Life - The Unnatural World
5. Phil Beaudreau - Ether
6. Alcest - Shelter
7. The Gloaming - The Gloaming
8. Ratking - So It Goes
9. An Ant And An Atom - You Are No One
10. Angel Olsen - Burn Your Fire For No Witness
11. Actress - Ghettovile
12. Mike Jourgensen - Moodeity
Still have to hear 3: Chicano Batman - Cycles of Existential Rhyme, Juรงara Marรงal - Encarnado, Benjamin Construct - Anamorphic Reality
Finally gave it a listen yesterday. Definitely hear the Basinski influence. I didn't love it as much as others here, but I know this is a record that's also gonna get better and better with repeat listens. Great rec. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
