i can't wait to see this future developments in BEA !!!

but i think that to bring more diversity, charts by county, region or continents is an interesting idea to develop a richer catalog on this site. charts per year, decade are a good idea but to attract more non english speaker user this can be usefull. and of course making this website available in sevral languages is the best way to bring a fully international audience (spanish, french, arabic, chinese ...etc). but i know that this is hard to achieve. at least chart per regions is i think a good developement idea for the forthcoming (i hope ๐Ÿ˜ ) features

just an example of charts from different regions:

- USA
- UK + Ireland + Australia + canada + NZL
- Europe
- Africa
- Eastern Asia
- west Asia
- central an south america and Caribbeans

yes, this sounds a great idea. There's a few ways we could do this:

1. by artist nationality
2. by chart creator nationality

we'd also love to get this site translated into more languages. First, we'd need to do some work this end to get the site skinnable into multiple languages, then we'd need to create a list of all translatable strings on this website and finally we'd need to farm these strings out for translation. It's not a quick process, but it's definitely something we should do.

For one of my blogs, I simply use translate.Google.com to translate the pages. Translations I use are to French, German, Italian, Portugese, and Spanish but others are available. See http://rfnaples.spaces.live.com/

it's possible to use Google Translate and it gives you the gist, but the translations are not nearly as accurate as uisng a human translator.

We're now part-way through the background work to implement ths feature (charts by country/region). So far, we've populated 2,000 out of 6,000 bands! We're having problems finding out the nationality for a few bands. Would anyone care to tell us the nationality of the following bands?

Jamalski http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?b=1599
Giraffes? Giraffes! http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?b=2829
Miss Bliss http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?b=3222
Black Chastity http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?b=2573
The Bug http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?b=3053
Solvent http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?b=1479
Clara Rockmore http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?b=2578

This feature will be live in a month or so (it is currently under development and is not visible at the moment)....
