It would be nice to have a feature to export different lists (ratings, Wish List, etc.) to an Excel document. I spent an hour the other copying over a bunch of stuff, and it pretty well dried my acorns out.

Most pages have a 'download csv file' link. csv files can easily be read into excel:

Open the file with excel

go to the data tab
select entire A column
choose "text to columns"

screen 1: delimited
screen 2: comma
finish

replace content of destination cells

You should now have a reasonable excel file

Tbh, CSV is the most open file format that the site can provide. Most text editors and spreadsheet programmes can read this format. A minor point, CSV is actually comma separated so there should be no need to do text to columns in Excel, it should open automatically into columns (at least in the versions that I've tried) - just do File->Open and choose 'Text files' as the file type (Excel will know it is comma-separated from the .csv file extension).
