I've had this album on my bucket list since I was 13.
I'm 17 now and all I've heard is Gunshy.

i just recently got the 33-1/3 series book about this album. i haven't gotten very far into the book, but it prompted me to listen to the album for the first time in a long time, and bits of it have been stuck in my head for a couple weeks now. i forgot how much i enjoyed it and how many catchy little hooks and lyrical bits it has.

Stupid good. There are a handful of tracks I could live without ("Explain It to Me", "Johnny Sunshine", "Gunshy"), but this album demonstrates a huge emotional range and features some of my favorite guitar and vocal work. "6'1"", "Help Me Mary", "Never Said", "Mesmerizing", "Divorce Song", "Stratford-On-Guy", and "Strange Loop" are all indispensable.

Yeah, I'm much the same as this, got into it over the summer and it's now on the lower reaches of my overall chart and could keep climbing in time. _________________
