Jerry for the tourney.

He was such accomplished guitarist in such a wide array of styles, not to mention the fact that he was a master of improvisation. I've probably listened to a hundred different Grateful Dead shows at this point, but I can still never get tired of the way he plays.

Here are some examples on the scope of his playing, and the different moods he can set (on the fly!)

saw this a few days back - as good a place to post it as any:http://pitchfork.com/features/overtones...-harrison/. goes into quite some detail about Harrison's playing style.

I think it is important to note how both technically significant and emotionally poignant his style was to a point few have reached (in terms of the exact balance of the two).

Harrison is the only Beatles member I would have no qualms about voting as best at their instrument.

I'm a huge proponent of George Harrison actually. Out of all the Beatles, he created the best songs and his guitar playing tends to be beautiful (Here comes the sun for ex.). I personally wouldn't mind if he won the tourney. Vote to him.

I'm voting for George.

I'm not surprised how even this match is though, this tournament is literally turning into 'titan vs. titan'.

It would take a lot to get me to vote against a Beatle. Jerry's great, but not quite that great for me.

Harrison's fantastic; Garcia's transcendent.

I've stopped voting in this tournament. I really have no idea to to compare guitarists like Harrison and Garcia who were both so perfect at what they did. I'm a bit more familiar with Harrison's work but Jerry's is equally important

I've felt this way for quite a few rounds now. They're all gods as far as I'm concerned. It's good being a polytheist.

Yeah I haven't really voted much since that first round except for Fahey or Fripp. Hendrix vs Django was just silly.
